A few questions, if you have time:
- Who is the head instructor and what is his or her experience level &/or lineage in BJJ?
- Are the classes gi or no-gi (or mixed)?
- Do you have a mat fee to try out the classes or for drop-ins?
- Are there children's classes and if not, are there any plans for some in the future?

Hi Matt. My name is Christian Derr. I am the head instructor here at Clinch. Sorry for the slow response. I haven't been checking the comments. In fact I thought I had disabled them but let me answer your questions.
I am a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Jean Jacques Machado.
We train gi and no gi. Lately with the heat, it has been strickly no gi. But starting next week we will be training a lot more with the gi.
There is no mat fee to try out the classes. You can come in for a week and see if you like it.
After that you can either pay by the month or we also offer a 10 class punch card for $80.
Currently we are only teaching adults but there are plans to offer children's classes in the future possibly this fall.
